John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. “’
When we are depressed or when what we want doesn’t happen, we need encouragement. So at that time, we should always turn to God for assistance.
Psalm 42:1-2 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. Our soul should God should fight for you. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?
Never should we become anxious about anything, especially when we are helpless and everything seems to be going wrong; instead, we should seek the Lord’s presence. What encouragement is, is this. We should be in God’s presence in such a way that God should constantly recognize that we are seeking him out and God himself should feel guilty for not providing it for us. In this way, we ought to stand before him with courage in our hearts. And never be reluctant to approach him.
Psalm 42:4 These are things I remember. I pour out my soul: How I used to go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng.
David had a large family, and if we imagine how they would get ready, as the passage states, with cries of joy and with a throng, they used to go. They used to prepare themselves a day ahead, unlike us who get ready for church at the last minute and arrive late. Therefore, just as David was prepared when he went to church and entered God’s presence, we should also have that eagerness and encouragement to meet God. A heart that is aching will be satisfied by God. And in the next verse,
Psalm 55:17 In the evening, morning, and noon, I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. We should never grow tired of crying out to God for things for which he has not yet performed miracles. Even if things take longer than we anticipated, we should still approach God bravely. and in the belief that he will work wonders and miracles when the time is right. Be assured When you encounter God like David, who prayed solemnly and earnestly before God each evening, morning, and midday while experiencing difficulties. God answered David’s prayers, gave him the encouragement to succeed, and provided him with assistance.
God will provide you with the desires of your heart and give you encouragement to be brave. And we ought to ask God to help us become like David. God sees a heart filled with desperation like David’s, so our willingness to serve him should grow.
