After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem. Math 2:1
When Jesus was born Magi from east came to see Jesus, they travelled 2 year to met Jesus, they knew king of Jews were born, but why did they take this much pain to travel for 2 years when they did not know when the travel will get over ?
“and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” Math 2:2 They took all this pain just to worship the King, how do we worship the Almighty God.
Did they get discouraged by this travel, the word says “When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.” Math 2:10 Even after 2 years when they saw the sign to Jesus they were overjoyed, are we overjoyed going to spent time with Jesus, They came and “ they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him”. Mat 2:11a and did not come empty handed they carried treasures and gifts “Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh”. Mat 2:11b How do we worship, do we give all what we have.
