“Moses therefore said to them, Wait, and I will listen to what the LORD will command concerning you.” Numbers 9:8

People came to Moses and asked a query, for which Moses did not know the answer. Moses did not bluff; he did not try to escape from the question. He tells the people, I will wait and listen to the Lord. He did not even tell a time line, when he would give an answer, although Moses used to talk to the Lord face to face. He was very serious on waiting and listening from the Lord. Are we serious in being in the Lord’s presence and listening to what the Lord is speaking to us?

Psalmist saidI will hear what God the LORD will say; For He will speak peace to His people” Psalm 85:8 Jesus being God himself, the word says “Jesus went to a mountain to pray, and he spent the whole night in prayer to God.” Luke 6:12. Jesus used to regularly wait and listen to His Father; He used to take time for it. Are you kneeling down and listening, with the attitude of Samuel “Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” 1 Sam 3:10. Today did you listen to the Lord?

Prayer: Lord, I am waiting on you. Speak to me Lord. Let my lifestyle be always speaking to my Lord. Let ever moment in my life be listening to my Father in heaven. Amen.
