Story: David wrote this psalm to Jeduthun who was the director of music. In this Psalm David in one portion describes the tough times, he is going through.
David told about his enemies; How long will you assault me? Would all of you throw me down, Surely they intend to topple me. In midst of it how did David react, his reaction defined his destiny.
Lesson: Our future is decided on how we respond and not on the circumstances. David in his trails, through this psalm he confessed, I will not be shaken. How do we respond?
Our peace is proportional to our perspective. In David’s toughest days, he was sure and he wrote “Power belongs to God”. What do we believe?
Prayer: Father Lord, help me to respond rightly and always believe the word of God. Amen.
