Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles” Ps 105:5
David wrote this Psalm as hymn and gave it to Asaph so people could sing while carrying up of the ark from the house of Obed-Edom, we read this from 1 Chr 16:7. Let us meditate on the initial portion of this great testimony.
Rejoice – David starts a detailed testimony by asking the people to proclaims what the Lord has done and to tell His wonderful deeds, “Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known … what he has done. Sing to him, … tell of all his wonderful acts” Ps 105:1,2. Let us also every day start our prayer by describing what the Lord has done for us. Proclaiming powers His presence into our life.
Return – When we are weak let us seek the Lord and look to Him alone for strength, “… let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always” Ps 105:3,4. In our past we took wrong choices and are you weak, but now let us seek the Lord who is our strength.
Remember – In tough times let us remember and meditate the wonders the Lord has done, let us testify His miracles “Remember thewonders he has done, his miracles, …” Ps 105:5,6 In the past the Lord did great things for us, so let us “Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful “ Deu 8:18
Prayer: Father Lord; my eyes are on you, if not for you who else I have. In past you have made me see many victories, I rejoice in you Lord for you are my strength. When I do not know what to do, Lord you alone are my guide. Amen.
