Revival: The above portion says people of Israel read the word for 6 hours on a particular day. And during the festival of trumpets, for seven continuous days Ezra read the word publicly Day after day, from the first day to the last, Ezra read from the Book of the Law of God. They celebrated the feast for seven days Neh 8:18 for six hours He read it aloud from daybreak till noon Neh 8:3. And confessed and worshipped God for another 6 hours. What are we doing?
Result: This was the generation that was freed from Slavery freely by Persian King, Persian King provided for building of the temple. Lord enabled the people to build the temple under Ezra and built the gates and walls for the city under Nehemiah. Through prophets Haggai and Zechariah Lord promised the coming of Jesus. Under Ezra and Nehemiah all evil ways of the people where corrected. Lord blessed them.
Reason: All this because there was a group of people who loved the word and felt ashamed of their sins, confessed and worshipped the Lord in true heart, the word says Blessed man But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. Pslam 1:2
Prayer: Lord I will meditate on your word, you alone are trustworthy and my hopes are on you, Lord; change me to be like you. Give me the wisdom to handle the situation and anoint me to face everything in faith. Amen: The above portion says people of Israel read the word for 6 hours on a particular day.
