Jos 1:1-9
Story: After the death of Moses, the Lord said to, Moses’ aide: “Moses my servant is dead. Now get ready to cross into the land I am about to give. I will give you every place where you set your foot. No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life.
Lord said “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Lesson: Many times we consider disobedience as ok, as a result of taking Grace lightly. Obedience should flow out of our love for God. Word says His commands are not burdensome.
There is power in obedience, there is joy and freedom in keeping the commandments of God. As Lord has set it for our benefit to enjoy life in its fullness. Obedience is the key to open the supernatural.
Prayer: Father Lord, teach me to understand it is a great joy to obey. Open my wisdom to see what to obey. Amen.
