Story: Just before Israelites entered Canaan, Lord asked Moses to give them instructions. Let’s us look at couple more today.
1 – And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
2 – The Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister and to pronounce blessings in his name, as they still do today
Lesson: Our Father has an expectation about us. Fear God out of love, not the fear of punishment. Serve the Lord out of true joy. Walk in holiness as that will bring true meaning in life.
We are called to carry the burden of God, which is to save lost souls. What we speak has power, let us pronounce blessing , not just positive words but speak out blessings in the name of Jesus.
Prayer: Father Lord, help to love, fear , serve with all my heart. And always walk in your ways and speak the words from you. Amen.
