“Is anything too hard for the Lord?” Gen 18:14
Story: Abraham was called to go to Canaan when he was 75 years old, on the way Lord promised him a son. Now he is 99 years old, still no son, but in Mamre the Lord came and told next year the same time, Abraham will have a son. Sarah could not believe, Lord asked a question “Is anything too hard for the Lord”. We know the answer “Yes” and Abraham had a son.
Lesson: When we are in a situation, where there is no hope. It might be already too late. Can we answer this question what the Lord asked. Let us stop pondering what we feel negatively, let us claim and speak out the promises of God. “Jesus looked at them and said, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Mat 19:26
Prayer: Lord, I do not want to confess what I feel negatively; but I will claim and speak the promises of God. “there is nothing too hard for thee” Jer 32:17 Amen.
