Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress Psalm 107: 6
[This same verse is repeating in verse 13, 19 and in verse 28] – Four times exact same verse, yes Lord is confirming us deliverance. Psalm 107:8 “ Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men” [This same verse is repeating in verse 15, 21 and in verse 31] – Four times exact same verse, yes Lord we will always thank you.
These two verse comes together in sequence, the only difference is the verse in between these verses all the four times are different. Four kinds of deliverance that lead to thanksgiving.
Inheritance: “He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle” Psalm 107:7 The ministry call, land you and your generation is going to settle down, our Lord has given to us as inheritance.
Forgiveness: “He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains” Psalm 107:14 Dominion of sin in our life will be broken; we will be filled with the Holy Spirit and will walk in holiness.
Healing: “He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave” Psalm 107:20 Lord will heal us spiritually and physically.
Peace: “He stilled the storm to a whisper; …. and he guided them to their desired haven” Psalm 107:29-30 Tough times in our work, and surrounding will be solved.
Prayer: Lord; I am offering my Thanksgiving for the deliverance you are going to send on me. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
