The LORD said to Moses: “Tell your brother Aaron that he is not to come whenever he chooses into the Most Holy Place .. or else he will die. For I will appear in the cloud over the atonement cover Lev 16:2

Here Lord is asking Moses to Aaron not to come to the Most Holy Place whenever Aaron wanted, “…death of the two sons of Aaron who died when they approached the LORD” Lev 16:1 There is way to approach the Lord, Aaron’s children died because they carelessly approached the Lord. How do we approach the Lord? Yes in New Testament we could approach the throne of grace confidently. So let us meditate requirement of getting into the Most Holy place experience.
Prepare and Purity: We need to prepare ourselves by confessing our sins, the word says “This is how Aaron is to enter the Most Holy Place: He must first bring a young bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering” Lev 16:3 We have to live holy, telling no to sin is serious, the word says “He is to put on the sacred linen tunic.. These are sacred garments; so he must bathe himself with water before he puts them on” Lev 16:4. Ask Lord Forgiveness and depend on God to help us to live a Holy life.
Prayer and Praise: We need to change our lifestyle and have a serious prayer life nothing else could help us to grow towards the Lord, the word says “He is to put the incense on the fire before the LORD, and the smoke of the incense will conceal the atonement cover above the tablets of the covenant law, so that he will not die”Lev 16:13 Praising God is power, let us praise the Lord for we are cleansed and sealed by the blood of Jesus. “He is to take some of the bull’s blood and with his finger sprinkle it on the front of the atonement cover; …”Lev 16:14
Prayer: Lord, help me get into a place of Most Holy place. Oh! Lord help me to prepare, live pure, always pray and praise the Lord Almighty. Amen.
