Encouraged them with these words 2 Chro 32:6b
King of Assyria challenged Hezekiah and people of Judah. The enemy was too powerful compared to the physical strength of Judah. Enemy threatened by words even said do not depend on your Gods as even they cannot save. Hezekiah trusted in the Lord and encouraged the people with words and asked them to keep silent. Lord; sent an angel and destroyed the enemies. What were the encouraging words Hezekiah spoke? Let us also confess these than worrying what enemy will do.
Courage: Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, 2 Chro 32:7a Let us not be afraid of the tough situation we are going through, let us be strong.
Realize: for there is a greater power with us than with him. 2 Chro 32:7b Let us stop looking at the enemy and let us start looking at the Almighty and All powerful Lord who is at our side.
Trust: With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles. 2 Chro 32:8a Let the situation be anything, let us trust in the Lord completely and be confident that the Lord will help.
Confidence: And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said.. 2 Chro 32:8b Let there be at peace and have confidence in the Lord.
Prayer: Lord; let me speak only encouraging words and let me not fear any situation but live in the fear of God. Teach me to trust and obey. Amen.
