Verse:
My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline Heb 12:5
Thought:
When
the conscience is convicting you why are you not taking it seriously,
Holy Spirit is convicting you, when you sin because you are a child of
God and why are you not being sensitive to it, why are you doing things
that is hurting your father in heaven. Why did he save us? Why did He
give His Spirit for us “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us
timid, but gives us power, love and self- discipline” 1 Tim 1:7
Stop
doing all the carnal nature asking you to do and then just categorize
it as a weakness, which you are struggling to overcome. Paul being such a
great man of faith said “No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my
slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” 1 Cor 9:27. Discipline yourself lest you be disqualified.
Discipline
yourselves from filthy thoughts, careless words, bad eating habits,
over sleeping, laziness, addiction to TV, careless expenditures, wrongs
friends etc. Be Disciplined, or the Lord says Rev 3:16
” So, because you are lukewarm— neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit
you out of my mouth.” Do not be lost because of not being disciplined.
Prayer:
Lord I surrender myself to you to be disciplined. Amen
