Thought
When Israelites were taken into slavery by Babylonian Empire, Lord promised through Jeremiah in Jer 29:10 “For
thus says the LORD, ‘When seventy years have been completed for
Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you
back to this place”. But this
promise was fulfilled only when Daniel read and claimed it. When Daniel
claimed it, Lord used King Cyrus to release the people free and the king
destroyed Babylonians. When we pray we are more than conquerors (we do
not fight, but the battle belongs to God).
Same
way there are many promises in the Bible, but it becomes our and get
fulfilled only when we read the Bible and claim it. Jesus spoke only the
word to satan, when satan tempted Jesus. Jesus started the ministry by
reading Isa 61:1-3.
When Ezra read the book of Law (Gen – Deu) in public, people were
anointed in the Holy Spirit. When the Ethopian Ennuch was reading the
word, Lord sent Philip to Him.
Do you love the word and study it? Is it your part of life? Word is written Jesus. Did you read and study the Bible today?

Lord, sorry for taking your word lightly. Now onwards Lord help to read the Bible regularly. Amen.
