who once was unprofitable to you, but now is profitable to you and to me. Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in the Lord.

BACKGROUND OF THE VERSE:

Onesimus was appointed to death penalty who was useless to everyone.
He met Paul in prison and becomes a useful person after knowing the gospel through him.

God did not create anyone to be useless but to be a useful vessel. We become useful once we accept Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord.

We need anointing to be a special person.

1 Corinthians 12:7, says , “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:”

The spiritual gifts are given for profit.
