The Lord Jesus is the unchanging God.

The seven features that specifies the characteristics of unchanging God are as follows:

1. God never changes in the purpose destined for each one of us.

Ephesians 3:11, “according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,”

Human beings change according to the situations and seasons. But, God never changes and His purpose for us also never changes. We may change our purpose. Examine whether you are sticking on to the God’s purpose. If you have been astray from His purpose, surrender to Him and pray.

2. God’s love never changes.

Jeremiah 31:3. The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

God’s love never changes according to seasons. Though we were away and unknown about  Him, His love never changed. Since the day of your creation and until this day, His love for you never changes. Even the person who promised you with love might have changed but God’s love never changed. His love remains the same until this day.

3. God’s grace never changes.

Isiah 54:8. With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says the LORD, your Redeemer.

He has eternal grace upon us. Thank God for His Grace. Ephesians says not to think of His grace casually. Every morning the grace is new. Have a longing not to miss the grace every day.

4. God’s presence will never change.

 Joshua 1:9. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

God is confirming these words for you today as well. Let God be with you in all your plans. Joshua 1:5 says No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.

When God is always with us, everyone fears us, including the adversary, who can do nothing to us. God is great.

5. God never changes in His promises.

Isiah 55:3, Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— ………

God’s covenant will never change. The promises given to you in the beginning of this new year, will come to pass through. The heaven and earth may fail but not His words. His words are sealed. Thank Him for His promises.  Re think the promises that God has given to you. God does His deeds in order to fulfil His promises. When any worry, sorrow, sickness affect you, think firmly that God’s promise is with you. God’s grace and favor will never change. Hold on to the promises. God does not need many years to fulfill His promises, but less than a single second is enough.

6. God’s power never changes.

1 Timothy 6:16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power.  Amen.

Before 2021 years ago, as God healed the sick, blind, lame, raise the dead, the same power is until today. It has not changed. He will do mighty things. Confess that His power will do a miracle for you. If you are weary about anything today, confess that His power will never change. Be confident.

7. God’s holiness will never change.

Isiah 6: 3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”

We may change according to the situation, but His holiness never changes. We should never adjust or compromise to have a holy life. We must not be thoughtless, about God’s holiness. We must lead a holy life.
