Verse:
“Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who hopefully wait for me shall not be put to shame.”. Isaiah 49:23
Thought:
We will learn and know more about God, and we will be able to see His ways when we silently wait. That too when we wait helplessly with all hope lost in the worldly sense. The word says “Be still and know I am the Lord” Ps 46:10. How to wait? Just claim the promises, and be in His presence in prayer and praise. Leave the rest to God and see the power of God.
Lord gave a promise to Habbakuk, and He asked the Lord when will the promise be fulfilled. The word says. Habbakuk 2:2 “And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, … and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” We also received promises, Lord is asking us to wait, it will be fulfilled in His time. Now you might have waited so long and almost given up, Just remember Abraham who waited 25 years “Hoping in spite of hopeless circumstances, he believed” Rom 4:18. Delayed answers are always double delights.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to wait hopefully. Let me to know you in quietness. And know your power in patience. And persist in your presence in praises. I know you will answer in the best time. Amen.
