Verse 3 says about the tree planted by God. Bible speaks about many trees. There was a tree of knowledge at the garden of Eden. The tree of righteousness is mentioned in this verse.
It says that God will do justice. According to the deeds, good work of our forefathers, we will have fruits in life. The seed of justice is sowed by God. The righteous, who are called and chosen by God shall have a difference between the unrighteous.
Verse 4, -God sees us and sees the ruined places in our life, which is the “Relationships”. Some relationships are cut off for the long term in our lives. There are divisions among the siblings, family, etc. There should not be any enemy for us in this world. There should be healthy relationships with others.
David and Saul’s family were in conflict for many years. For the sake of Jonathan, David searched for someone to do good in his family and found Mephibosheth and helped (II Samuel 9:1). This is the repairing of the ruined city. Renew such relationships.
You may be having good deeds from which you have slipped away. Good deeds may have deviated. You are the trees of righteousness turned out from the ruined city. During the days of childhood in Sunday School, newly born again, there might have been a good relationship with God. But now, there may be a lack in bible reading, praying, and living a holy life.
People who were good, hail, and healthy passed away soon after the infection of Coronavirus.
So, in order to inherit the promise, we have to follow these instructions.
Renew your relationships, sustain in bible mediation, prayer, giving for the Lord, and live for God to bring honour to Him. Prepare yourself for the second coming of Christ.
Israelites had problems within them. In ancient times, their ways were corrupted. They left God and mingled with the ungodly. We may also be following the ungodly ways of the heathen, slipping away from Christian virtues. The things of the world would have crept in us. Israelites murmured, we also do the same. They were angry and argued with the Lord’s servant, Mosses. We may also do the same. The Israelites were against God’s spirit, betraying God. But, we have to turn away from such character and must be like the tree of righteousness.
We are the tree of righteousness reconciled with God, to bring change among us and the society. Surrender to God.
God will renew you
God shall give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. God will give it.
Renew the relationship with God. Rebuild from the things that destroyed you. If the Bible reading habit is left out whereas, other work is considered predominant, leave such habit and spent time reading Bible. Pray and renew these habits.
