which is mentioned in Joshua1: 1,2. Joshua’s ministry was for 60 years, in which he was along with Mosses for 40 years, assisting him according to all the instructions.
Israelites were stiff necked people, filled with anger, strife, murmuring spirit and were backslide amidst seeing God’s deeds, which is written in Psalm 106.

Joshua 1:5, says “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you”.

PRESENCE:
If God’s presence is with us we can accomplish anything.
Nothing can shake us. Presence is God Himself being with us.

PROMISE:
God promises Joshua that He will be with him and not forsake him.

COMMANDMENT

In order to receive God’s presence and promises, as God Commands in Joshua 1:8, that “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success”, We are also commanded to follow it.
In Joshua 1:7, as God said to mosses He instructs to Joshua which is instructed to us and in turn to our children.
