When Holy Spirit departs from us, we will loose the grace. God is not pleased with the position He gave to Saul. Saul did not give the best to God. He did not fear God but people. Fear of the Lord will lift us. Saul was displeased with the song sung by the women comparing him to David. So, Saul developed enmity with David.
Never be jealous on the exaltation of others. It is God who uplifts. Be in communion with the Holy Spirit. Never loose Him.
