1. The Promise of a Great Name

  • Recognition and Reputation: God wants to make your name great in places where you have been ignored or set aside. Whether in your family, among friends, or at your workplace, God is preparing to give you a “good reputation” and honor

  • Divine Promotion: Even if people have pushed your files to the bottom or considered you “nothing,” God will lift your name and cause others to recognize your hard work and faithfulness

  • Prophetic Word:  This is the season for God to fight for you and manifest your blessings publicly.

2. Lessons from Abraham’s Life

Four key actions Abraham took that unlocked his blessings:

  • Obedience (Genesis 12:1): When God told Abraham to leave his country and kin, he obeyed. We are encouraged to obey God in both small and big matters, even when it is difficult.

  • Intimacy with God (Genesis 17:22): The Bible says God “finished talking with him.” This implies a deep, personal relationship. We are urged to spend quality time alone with God, prioritizing prayer over business or personal status.

  • Unwavering Faith (Genesis 15:6): Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. If feelings of unbelief arise, we should immediately ask God for help to overcome them.

  • Gratitude and Giving (Genesis 14:20): Abraham gave a tithe of everything to Melchizedek. The speaker notes that a lack of gratitude or failure in tithing can sometimes hinder blessings. We are encouraged to be faithful in giving, trusting that God is “Jehovah Jireh” who will see to our needs.

3. Call to Self-Examination

  • Internal Inventory:  Taking time alone to ask: “Who am I? What am I doing? Is there any disobedience or stubborness in me that is blocking my blessing?”.

  • Removing Barriers: We are encouraged to pray for God to remove any internal hurdles—like pride or refusal to change—that might be preventing the fullness of His blessing.
