2. Lessons from Abraham’s Life

Obedience (Genesis 12:1): When God told Abraham to leave his country and kin, he obeyed. We are encouraged to obey God in both small and big matters, even when it is difficult.

Intimacy with God (Genesis 17:22): The Bible says God “finished talking with him.” This implies a deep, personal relationship. We are urged to spend quality time alone with God, prioritizing prayer over business or personal status.

Unwavering Faith (Genesis 15:6): Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness. If feelings of unbelief arise, we should immediately ask God for help to overcome them.
