Verse
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see an almond branch.” Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it Jer 1:11-12 (ESV)
Thought
Lord wants to share His plans with us. Joseph and Daniel confessed that the Lord reveals deep secrets. Paul said Lord opens up deep mysteries. The Lord is asking us also, what do you see? When we look do we see our problems? Or do we see the Lord’s promises? We need to look at all things by the eyes of the Lord.
When Jeremiah said he sees an almond branch, Lord replied You have seen it well. What will be the testimony about us by the Lord? Will it be; my child has seen it well? Our heavenly Father wants us to see well. Let us wait at the feet of the Lord, that He will open the eyes of our heart that we will see what the Lord wants us to see.
Lord said; I am watching over my promise to be performed. Lord wants us to see His promises through the eyes of faith. Trust in the Lord and be sure the Lord is watching on His promises to be fulfilled at His time. The word says Abraham was fully persuaded that the Lord was powerful to perform all His promises. Are we fully persuaded?
Prayer
Lord, I am fully persuaded that all the Lord’s promises will be fulfilled in Jesus Name. Holy Spirit, please open the eyes of my heart to have the right vision. Father, please reveal your mysteries. Amen.
