Verse:
“I will certainly give you.” 1 Chronicles 1:12
Thought:
You ask, if this was God s reply. What a joy it will be. What will you ask ? Many things we asked but are yet to get it. Why the denials and delays. God asked Solomon “What do you want ? Ask, and I will give it to you ” 1 Chro 1:7. Same Question Lord is asking to you what will you ask. Solomon answered “Give me wisdom and knowledge to rule them properly, for who is able to govern this great nation of yours” 1 Chro 1:10 .
If we ask and have burden of managing and upbringing of things Lord gave to us, our talents, burden for souls, intercession, sharing, gift of singing, our finances, health etc.
He will answer this way “I will also give you riches, wealth, and honor” 1 Chro 1:12 . Ask not from selfish motives, ask the right things to receive the best of God. You will ask things of heaven if your eyes are on things above, you will ask of things of the world if your focus is on the worldly.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus I am asking to fill me with your Spirit, your Love and your Burden. I praise you for you are going to answer. Amen.
