Thought
In our daily work, do we run to the Lord when things are wrong or start with the Lord and work in the direction given by the Lord. Lord promised to guide us Isaiah 30:21 “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Lord guides the one who acknowledges and the one who ask Him to take control. “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:6. Is our steps ordered by God. Psalmist was sure “My steps are ordered by the Lord.” Psalm 37:23
Today are sure like the Psalmist, Psalms 16:11 “You will show me the path of life”. David knew that the Lord was leading him, in the present continuous tense. “He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3. I am sure when we ask Lord to take control and surrender to His guidance. Then “God will instruct me and teach me in the way I should go. He will guide me with His eye.” Psalm32:8. Are you guided with His eyes ?
Prayer
Lord, I am sorry I am being lead many times by my very short sighted eye. I submit my life that Lord will guide me by your eyes. Amen.
