Verse:
Jesus answered him, ” …… ‘ do you believe? You will see greater things than these!” John 1:50
Thought:
Jesus asked Nathaniel do you believe? What will be the answer we give, if this question is raised? Just remember what the Lord said to the man who came to Jesus for healing of His son “As far as possibilities go, everything is possible for the person who believes.” Mark 9:23. As Jesus said, if faith was the measuring scale to receive, I will not receive many things. But my Lord is still merciful.
I have only one prayer “cried out at once, “I believe! Help my lack of faith.” Mark 9:24. Help me Lord to overcome, my unbelief. He will help me, then I heard my master whispering in my ears “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” John 11:40. Lord rebuked the unbelief of His disciples many times, yes Lord I need a rebuke from you for my unbelief.
Prayer:
Lord, I know it’s impossible to please you with out faith, help me Lord to have faith in you. And totally trust and surrender at your feet. Amen
