Verse:
The house that is to be built for the LORD shall be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all lands. [Therefore] now I will make preparation for it. So David made ample preparations before his death.
1 Chronicles 22:5
Thought:
David did great preparations to build the temple of the Lord.
Psalm 69:9 David writes in the past tense: “Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up.” He was passionate and was sold for the temple of God. New testament says “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own” 1 Corinthians 6:19. Are you passionate to be a great witness for you are the temple of God? Jesus said the temple was to be a “house of prayer for all nations” Mark 11:17.The temple of God will be full of worship. Is your life full of prayer and worship? Or is it as Jesus said “Den of robbers” (worries and desires of the world) Mark 11:17.
Prayer:
As we worship, built your throne, come Lord Jesus and take your place. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen.
