Thought:
Everyone is trying to do things that will make them happy. Everlasting joy comes from the Lord alone, if we obey the Lord willingly and work out our salvation in fear and trembling. Never taking grace lightly, confess in shame and decide to tell ‘A no to sin’. Dedicate yourselves for doing the will of God, then joy and happiness will never leave us.
It is wonderful to live like this by the grace of God. Happiness that comes from the world is only temporary. When situations go wrong happiness takes its wings and flies away. Let us not run to the Lord only when we are in need. Be in the presence of the Lord always, listen to the master and live according to His words. Life becomes meaningful when we live according to the instructions of the maker.
At this moment if you are away from the Lord. Just take a moment and confess your sins and ask the Lord to help you to live a victorious life. Jesus is waiting to come into your heart, just call Him as your personal savior. Nehemiah 8:10 “The joy of the Lord is my strength”. Lord wants us to be over comers and to be like minded like Jesus.
Prayer:
Lord, sorry for searching happiness in the world. Lord I come to you, let my heart be changed, renewed, flowing from the grace, that I found in you. Lord I come to know, the weaknesses I see in me, will be stripped away, by the power of your love. Amen.
