Thought:
When I felt I have no future and no solution to my problems. The Lord said through His word,Romans 8:25 “If we hope for what we do not have, we wait for it patiently.” Oh! My soul wait patiently to see the Lord working, still fear was gripping me. Then I read “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” Hebrews 11:1. Lord, help me to be sure and I claim Rom 15:13 “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost“. In this time of waiting fill me with joy and peace.
Hope occurs 129 times in the Bible in 121 verses, Faith occurs in the Bible 247 times in the Bible in 231 verses and fear occurs 400 times in the Bible in 385 verses. Bible warns us evil one tries to change our hope to fear, but our Lord wants our hope to be faith. I believe, rejoice my soul “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him” Lam 3:25 Abraham hoped against hope and Lord called Him blessed. Jeremiah 17:7 “Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord.” Are you blessed? Careful my soul Proverb 13:12 “Hope deferred maketh the heart sick“.
Prayer:
Lord, my hope is very deferred and weak. Help me Lord, to have complete unwavering hope in the you alone. Amen.
