Lord who delights in our desires!
Verse
Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
Thought
Lord honors even the smallest desires we have. We limit God by doubting, and we legalize the desire by telling it might not be God’s will. If we dwell in the Lord our desires itself will be from the Lord. Many times we just desire and we do not ask. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you”. Fear the Lord; let nothing take you away from the Lord. Psalm 145:19 “He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him”
Let all our desires be heavenly. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things (things needed in the world) will be added to you.” Mat 6:33 . When Lord is first in our life. “You have given him his heart’s desire, And You have not withheld the request of his lips. Psalm 21:2 . Jesus is praying for us to the Father “May He grant you your heart’s desire And fulfill all your counsel! Psalm 20:4
Prayer
Lord let my greatest desire to be with you and to fulfill the desires of the Lord. I know you always have answered my desires. Amen .
