Verse:
Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, And I shall be acquitted of great transgression. Psalms 19:13
Thought:
Presumptuous sins means sins, which are done purposely and from malice. David is asking the Lord to stop him from willful sins. Some sins we are addicted to it, but if today we sincerely desire and ask our Lord. Grace that saved us will also lead us through. Confess your weakness and doubts. Give the Lord the control. Our Lord is ready for the battle.
David asked “Let them (willful sins) not rule over me” Psalms 19:13 and the Lord answered it in Rom 6:14 “For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace” This is a promise. Do not worry 1 Kings 2:4 “You’ll succeed because the LORD will keep the promise he made”
Prayer:
Lord I am sorry for not believing, I give my weakness to you. I am yours; change me to be like you. I can’t live holy, but I know you are changing me. Amen.
