In Trouble, What to do?
Verse
“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me.” Psalm 138:7
Thought
When we are in trouble, first thought that passes our mind is the
consequences of it. Fear grips us, for the situation is not in our
control. David said “Even though I walk through the valley of the
shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me;” Psalm 23:4. We
need to strongly remind ourselves, of the presence of God in our life.
Stop adding consequences to your situations, start adding the promises
of God.
Enemies surrounded Israel, King Jehoshaphat trembled, but he prayed to
the Lord, Lord we are helpless and we do not know what to do but we
know you can do all things and in past you have done great things. The
Lord answered “the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus
says the LORD to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this
great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s” 2 Chro 15:20.
Speak to the Lord your fears He will give His promise “The Battle
Belongs to the Lord”.
‘Be anxious of anything but in prayer and supplication submit your
request to the Lord in thanksgiving’ Phil 4:6. Greatest deliverance
is, believing that Lord is in control and to have faith that the Lord
will deliver. Yes the Lord will revive me.
Prayer
Father God, I thank you for the deliverance is from you. You will lead
me victoriously. You will hold me all through my journey. Amen.
