Verse:
[Jesus said] “Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.” Mark 2:5
Thought:
When we sin, most of the times we confess our sins number of times, till we fell good. Lord does not wait to forgive our sins, till we feel good. But he forgives when we have a broken and contrive spirit. Feeling bad about hurting God and deciding not to repeat it anymore. Praying sincerely, Lord lead me not into temptation and deliver me from evil.
Jesus looked at a prostitute and said I am also not condemning you, (Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus), but sin no more. Jesus healed the man at the pool and said go home but sin no more (My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin no more 1 John 2:1). Jesus’s desire is not just to forgive and to heal, but He died for us to walk victorious and lead other also. Can we be like Daniel, word says “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself.” Daniel 1:8.
Prayer:
Jesus, I do not want to sin anymore, Lord I do not want to be a struggler anymore, help me Father Lord, Holy Spirit anoint me. Amen.
